Part-Time Freelance Proposal Engineer
Location: Remote – Europe / Eastern Europe

About the Role
We are looking for a Part-Time Freelance Proposal Engineer to support our international sales and proposal activities, particularly for industrial equipment, pumps, water & wastewater treatment, EPC projects, and mechanical systems.
This is a flexible remote position suitable for an engineer who already has a full-time job and is looking for additional freelance work.
Key Responsibilities
- Review customer RFQs, technical specifications, and tender documents.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposal documents.
- Perform basic pump selection and hydraulic calculations.
- Review P&IDs, technical drawings, datasheets, and equipment specifications.
- Prepare technical compliance sheets and equipment datasheets.
- Prepare BOQ/MTO and assist with cost estimation.
- Review supplier/vendor quotations and technical offers.
- Coordinate technical clarifications with suppliers and customers.
- Support preparation of EPC and industrial equipment proposals.
- Assist with technical research and product selection.
- Communicate with the Sales/Proposal Manager through email, WhatsApp, and online meetings.
- Provide technical support during the tender/proposal process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Pumps and rotating equipment
- Piping and hydraulics
- Water & wastewater treatment
- EPC projects
- Industrial equipment
- Mechanical equipment
- Able to read and understand P&IDs, technical drawings, datasheets, and specifications.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to technical details.
- Previous proposal/tender engineering experience is highly preferred.

Working Arrangement
This position is fully remote and flexible.
You do not need to leave your current job. We are specifically interested in engineers who would like to work with us on a part-time freelance basis.
Typical workload: 5–8 hours per week, depending on active projects and tenders.
Performance-based bonuses may also be considered for successful projects/orders.
