About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced Freelance Video Editor's & Motion Graphics Artist's with 8+ years of professional experience, preferably within an advertising agency environment.
This is an AI-first creative role. We're looking for people who not only use traditional editing software but actively leverages AI-powered tools to accelerate production, improve quality, and push creative boundaries.
You will be responsible for crafting compelling stories that align with campaign objectives. Working closely with account managers, copywriters, designers, and creative leads, you'll create engaging, platform-first content for brands across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Storytelling
- Lead end-to-end post-production for commercials, branded content, social media campaigns, corporate films, case studies, and digital marketing videos.
- Assemble raw footage into compelling narratives that align with campaign objectives and brand guidelines.
- Manage the editing workflow including rough cuts, fine cuts, colour correction, sound design, and final delivery.
- Refine pacing, rhythm, transitions, and visual storytelling to maximise audience engagement.
Motion Graphics & Animation
- Design and produce high-quality motion graphics, kinetic typography, 2D & 3D animations, and visual effects.
- Create engaging graphics that enhance storytelling and elevate the creative quality of every project.
- Experience with 3D animation tools such as Cinema 4D or Blender.
AI-First Video Production
The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience using AI tools throughout the production workflow, including:
- AI-assisted rough cuts and automated editing
- AI video generation
- Voice cloning and AI dubbing
- AI-powered subtitles and translations
- Background removal and object replacement
- AI upscaling and video enhancement
- Generative B-roll and AI visual effects
- AI-assisted colour grading and workflow automation
We are looking for editors who embrace AI to increase speed, efficiency, and creative possibilities.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure every deliverable meets brand guidelines, platform specifications, and technical standards.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while consistently meeting tight deadlines.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional video editing experience.
- Previous experience working within an advertising, branding, or creative agency.
- Strong portfolio showcasing:
- Commercials
- Digital campaigns
- Social media content
- Motion graphics
- Branded storytelling
- Exceptional storytelling, editing, pacing, and visual composition skills.
- Strong understanding of social-first content across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, OTT platforms, and digital advertising.
- Deep understanding of codecs, video formats, resolutions, frame rates, and delivery specifications.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
