Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph). Capabilities Assist with the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of web applications. JavaScript / CSS / HTML coding and code review. Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to build holistic user experiences. Help define and interact with REST based API’s. Troubleshoot customer reported issues in applications and providing support. Write unit tests and conduct quality assurance testing. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Clearance Requirement: Must obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, but not required on day one; U.S. Citizenship required. At least 5 years of experience with front end software development/engineering with a B.S. Degree in Computer Science or related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience. Must be able to work in a hybrid environment, spending an average of 2 days per week at our San Antonio office. Flexibility is essential to adapt to schedule changes as needed. Required Technical Skills Familiarity with Git or other version control software. Comfortable working on a *nix command line. Self-motivation; Ability to multi-task and prioritize open issues / tickets accordingly. Problem solving skills and ability to review information and compile data appropriately as needed. Desired Technical Skills Current Clearances: Active Secret or Top Secret clearances are a strong plus. Previous experience with a Data Lake/Warehouse is a plus. DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications may be required in this position as directed by the customer.
