The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Fulfillment Manager to lead fulfillment operations, order management, delivery coordination, inventory management, procurement support, logistics, supplier coordination, operational performance, and service-level management across construction projects. The ideal candidate will provide strong operational leadership throughout the fulfillment lifecycle, from procurement and order processing through delivery, completion, reconciliation, and final account settlement.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement fulfillment management strategies, procedures, standards, operational controls, service-level requirements, and governance frameworks aligned with project and organizational objectives.
Manage fulfillment activities from procurement and order processing through supplier coordination, inventory allocation, logistics, delivery, site receipt, completion, and final reconciliation.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Commercial Teams, Procurement, Legal, Finance, Design Consultants, Contractors, Subcontractors, Suppliers, Logistics Providers, and Executive Leadership.
Review, interpret, administer, and coordinate purchase orders, supplier agreements, delivery requirements, logistics arrangements, material schedules, and related commercial documents.
Manage fulfillment requirements across suppliers, contractors, subcontractors, warehouses, logistics providers, and other service providers.
Establish fulfillment administration procedures covering orders, procurement, approvals, inventory allocation, dispatch, delivery, inspections, receipt confirmation, returns, shortages, and contractual records.
Monitor supplier, contractor, and logistics-provider compliance with delivery schedules, quantities, specifications, quality standards, performance requirements, warranties, and other operational obligations.
Manage delivery delays, shortages, damaged materials, incomplete deliveries, backorders, substitutions, returns, cancellations, and other fulfillment adjustments.
Review material requirements, inventory levels, purchase requirements, delivery schedules, transportation costs, and operational reconciliations in coordination with Procurement, Finance, Commercial, and Construction teams.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including order fulfillment rates, on-time delivery, order accuracy, inventory availability, delivery-cycle performance, supplier performance, logistics costs, backorders, returns, material shortages, and operational efficiency.
Maintain comprehensive fulfillment registers, order trackers, inventory records, supplier registers, delivery schedules, shipment records, material-receipt records, exception logs, returns registers, and performance reports.
Lead fulfillment communications and ensure all orders, delivery requirements, supplier inquiries, approvals, updates, exceptions, and operational responses are managed within required contractual and operational timeframes.
Assess fulfillment requirements relating to project schedules, construction activities, procurement lead times, material availability, site requirements, supplier capacity, transportation constraints, and other project impacts.
Conduct fulfillment and operational risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for material shortages, delivery delays, supplier underperformance, inventory discrepancies, logistics disruptions, cost exposure, and procurement risks.
Coordinate with Procurement and Commercial teams to ensure materials, equipment, products, and services are sourced and delivered in accordance with approved requirements, budgets, specifications, and schedules.
Monitor supplier and logistics-provider performance and develop corrective-action plans for recurring delivery, quality, cost, or service-level issues.
Analyze fulfillment data, inventory trends, delivery performance, supplier performance, order patterns, operational costs, and project requirements to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Develop and implement fulfillment optimization initiatives focused on procurement coordination, inventory utilization, delivery planning, logistics efficiency, supplier performance, and project execution.
Coordinate with Procurement, Construction, Commercial, Finance, Operations, Technology, and other relevant teams to ensure accurate order processing, inventory management, delivery tracking, reporting, and reconciliation.
Prepare fulfillment performance reports, dashboards, delivery forecasts, supplier reviews, exception analysis, operational updates, and management presentations for senior management and executive leadership.
Monitor fulfillment performance and provide early-warning indicators regarding potential delivery delays, material shortages, supplier risks, inventory discrepancies, logistics constraints, or project schedule impacts.
Establish standardized fulfillment processes, reporting methodologies, inventory controls, supplier-management practices, delivery procedures, and performance-management frameworks.
Support procurement planning, budgeting, forecasting, inventory planning, logistics strategy, project scheduling, commercial planning, and operational improvement initiatives through fulfillment data and performance analysis.
Ensure fulfillment activities comply with applicable contractual obligations, procurement requirements, quality standards, safety requirements, supplier agreements, logistics requirements, and organizational policies.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on fulfillment efficiency, order accuracy, inventory optimization, supplier performance, delivery reliability, cost control, project support, and operational excellence.
