The team/project: We are excited to announce that we are setting up a new team in Riga , and we are looking for talented individuals to join us. As one of the first engineers in this team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact and be part of a dynamic and innovative work environment. You will be part of the Online Product Development team responsible for building and evolving customer-facing digital platforms . These platforms are used by thousands of customers to manage subscriptions, review bills, purchase products, and access self-service capabilities. This role combines strong fullstack engineering expertise with mentoring, technical decision-making, and delivery coordination responsibilities. Responsible for the technical leadership and coordination of the nearshore team in close collaboration with the Swiss-based Product Owner. As a Fullstack Developer you will: Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails, React, and modern frontend technologies Contribute to the future transition toward TypeScript-based applications (potentially Angular) Deliver backlog items end-to-end with attention to quality, maintainability, and performance Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate with QA and product stakeholders during refinement and sprint activities Contribute to CI/CD workflows, Docker environments, and application monitoring Support production issue investigation and maintenance activities What we offer: Salary from 3800 to 5500 EUR monthly gross 80 EUR monthly cell phone and internet allowance Flexible schedule and possibility to work in hybrid mode Ergonomic home office allowance in value of 500 EUR Possibility to work abroad for 4 weeks each year Health Insurance – includes gym or pool fitness membership, covers consultations with a psychologist or psychotherapist (issued after 1 month) Optics (200 EUR every 2 years) 24 working days of annual paid holiday per year 5 dedicated paid learning day’s annually Day off on your birthday or names day 1 day off for social activities (voluntary project, adopting an animal)​ Collaborative, friendly and driven work environment Work on innovations, cutting edge technologies and in autonomous high performance teams Parking options Continuous development environment that fosters your growth (conferences, cross-department experience sharing, learning platforms etc.) Annual salary review Proficiency in any web development language Experience working with Ruby and React, or willingness to learn Comfortable working across backend and frontend topics Hands-on mindset with strong ownership and communication skills Curiosity and eagerness to learn Fluent in English
