Position summary

The Full Stack Engineer works across Wudd’s technology team to design, build, test, deploy, and operate production-grade applications powered by Transformer architectures and Large Language Models (LLMs).

This is a fungible Software Engineering role spanning Front-end, Middleware, Back-end, and LLM-based applications. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building and deploying production-grade software, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the versatility to work across the technology stack as needed.

Key Responsibilities

· Work across the full SDLC, from understanding requirements and designing solutions through implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

· Design and build production-grade applications and services across Front-end, Middleware, Back-end, and LLM-based components.

· Integrate AI capabilities with APIs, data pipelines, databases, external services, and Wudd’s core platform.

· Develop robust testing, evaluation, validation, and observability practices for both traditional software and AI/LLM applications.

· Collaborate closely with engineers, domain experts, and other members of the Wudd team to turn complex problems into effective, maintainable solutions.

Qualifications

Required

· 4+ years of professional software engineering experience after completion of a degree, including hands-on experience on real production-grade applications.

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.

· Expert-level proficiency in Python and strong proficiency in at least one additional programming language.

· Strong experience with database design, APIs, and Front-end technologies.

· Hands-on experience with Docker, containerized workflows, CI/CD, and production deployment on a major cloud platform.

· Familiarity with modern AI-assisted software development tools, such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools, with an understanding of how to incorporate them effectively into software engineering workflows.

· Fluent written and spoken English at a professional level.

Preferred

· Microsoft Azure DevOps and Production deployment experience are highly desirable

· Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face Transformers, or similar AI/LLM development frameworks.

· Experience building RAG, agentic workflows, structured-output pipelines, or other LLM-powered applications in production.

Terms

Engagement is under an independent contractor agreement. All work products and intellectual property are assigned to Wudd Technologies Inc. upon creation. Confidentiality obligations apply.

All development work must take place in company-controlled repositories and cloud accounts using company-issued credentials.
