Full Stack Engineer (NodeJS/React)

We're looking for a Fullstack Engineer (Node.js/React) to join our IT team.

Our client is an international technology company focused on developing digital solutions for the education sector. The company builds innovative products that support teaching and learning, with a strong focus on digital platforms, content delivery, and AI-powered experiences.

Location: 100% remote (candidates must be based in Portugal)

Requirements:

• 8–9 years of professional experience in full-stack development using Node.js and React
• Solid experience developing GraphQL APIs (schema design, resolvers, batching, and query complexity management)
• Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization
• Hands-on experience designing and building a Design System from scratch, including reusable components, patterns, and guidelines
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Knowledge of search engines (Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or similar)
• Experience designing scalable and resilient systems
• Fluent English, both written and spoken (mandatory)
