About the role:

A major organisation in the manufacturing sector is looking for an experienced Full-Stack .NET Developer to join its Process Automation team.

You will contribute to the development, maintenance and reliability of process IT applications supporting manufacturing, quality and maintenance activities. The position combines modern application development with the support and modernisation of existing systems.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and develop application enhancements.
• Design and develop front-end and back-end solutions.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and improve existing process applications.
• Contribute to application-modernisation and digital-transformation projects.
• Deliver reliable applications within agreed deadlines and quality standards.
• Produce technical and operational documentation.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to users. Work directly with business stakeholders
• Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure the continuity of production systems.
• Be available during nights and weekends one week out of five as part of the rotation.

Essential requirements

• At least five years of professional development experience.
• Strong experience with C#.
• Solid knowledge of .NET Framework 4.x and .NET Core.

• Hands-on, strong experience with WWPFW-Comfortable-WPF-Strong experience with WPFXAML and the MVVM pattern. Keywords: WPF binding, WPF Commanding, WPF Controls.
• Experience with AngularXAML (MVXAML and WPFXMVVM architecture**).
• Front-end development experience with Angular.
• Strong experience with SQL Server.
• Good command of Visual Studio 2017/2022 and VS Code.
• Experience with TFS and/or AzureXAzure
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Strong team spirit and good communication skills.

Preferred experience

• Maintaining and taking over existing or legacy applications.
• Working with both desktop/thick-client and web/thin-client architectures.
• Direct communication with business stakeholders.
• Knowledge of SignalR and/or RabbitMQ.
• Comfortable working within a mixed technology landscape containing modern .NET solutions and older systems such as C and Sybase.
