Full Stack Software Engineer (C#, JavaScript)

Why this role matters: We are the Interaction Plan team and we are responsible for the modernisation and maintenance of a number of core system components, built within a modern event-driven microservices platform based on .Net and Kafka. We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer who’ll contribute to both new feature development and backend system improvements with a strong focus on quality, fault tolerance, and performance. You’ll gain hands-on experience with real-time communications and use data to help improve how we build and scale our services. This is a primarily backend-focused role with occasional frontend exposure. Your key responsibilities: Plan, write, maintain, test and document code across the team services and platforms. Participate in triage and customer support activities, such as investigating customer cases or incident management and recovery activities. Collaborate and work as a part of a distributed team, working with other team members and reviewing code. Actively participate in team meetings and ceremonies, contributing to ongoing improvement of team practices and ways of working. What you'll bring Required: 3+ years of professional experience in backend software development ( .Net/C# + Java). Any Front-End experience ( TypeScript or JavaScript ) o r willingness to learn it. Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and Jenkins in enterprise production environments Previous experience using MongoDB database. Strong English skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed, multicultural environment. A proactive attitude toward building new products from scratch, with a focus on high-quality code and scalable design patterns.
