What do we do in our team? Vehicle Configuration & Update Team enables secure, scalable software updates, for HighPerformance Computer (HPC) platforms and ECUs, both over-the-air and wired, and across global vehicle programs. We design and evolve the end-to-end update ecosystem, from backend services to vehicle integration, working hands-on with cutting-edge automotive software trends and technologies. With innovation and long-term product value at the core, we actively shape the Software-Defined Vehicle ambition at TRATON by building robust update capabilities that accelerate innovation cycles, safeguard vehicle integrity, and unlock continuous software value throughout the entire vehicle lifecycle. What will your responsibilities be? • Create, test, deploy and run (DevOps) backend solutions, web-based tools and customer-facing interfaces using modern cloud infrastructure; • Develop and maintain functionality for our trucks using agile methodologies, being responsible for integral parts of our technical roadmap; • Develop products, prototypes and MVPs for near-vehicle features; • Be able to take end to end responsibility for the products you build, including usage of hardware test setups to validate capability with embedded systems; • Advise your team and other teams on all questions around Fullstack development in an automotive IoT environment and work together on continuously improving the service, tooling and processes; • Take initiative to solve problems and overcome roadblocks, being the interface between design, technology and user; • Solve problems in innovative and pragmatic ways What requirements are we looking for? • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or comparable job expertise; • At least 5 years of professional experience; • Relevant experience in the conception and implementation of complex IT solutionsin an international context; • Solid experience with Clean Code and Clean Architecture principles as well as common software design patterns.
