Fullstack Developer

JOB OVERVIEW

Plan A Technologies is looking for a seasoned Fullstack Developer to design, build, and maintain both the frontend and backend components of our applications. In this role, you will act as a versatile engineer, focusing on delivering seamless user experiences while creating high-performance server-side logic and optimizing data layer infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into robust, end-to-end production-ready solutions.

Please note: you must have at least 5+ years of experience developing full-stack applications using Node.js and React to be considered for this role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable frontend user interfaces and backend services.
• Build high-performance, scalable backend systems and define efficient communication protocols.
• Design, optimize, and maintain relational database schemas, ensuring data integrity and query efficiency.
• Identify system bottlenecks, optimize web application performance, and ensure high availability across the entire stack.
• Partner alongside product managers, designers, and other engineering stakeholders to deliver complete, high-quality software features.

EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of experience professionally developing full-stack applications using Node.js and React.
• Strong experience building high-performance backend microservices and defining efficient RPC protocols using gRPC.
• Proven experience working with relational databases, schema design, and query optimization using PostgreSQL.
• Nice to have: Thrift and AWS experience.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Initiative and drive to do great things.
