Fullstack Developer - Talent Pool

Join us as a Fullstack Developer! We’re a banking/fintech-focused company building smart, modern digital products. We already have several GenAI-powered projects up and running, and we love experimenting with new ideas, technologies, and approaches. Now we’re looking for a talented Fullstack Developer to join our awesome team and help us build the next wave of innovative fintech solutions. Heads up: this is a talent pool role we don't have an immediate opening right now, but we'd love to keep your CV on file. If a matching opportunity comes up, you'll be one of the first people we reach out to! Your future tasks: • Plan out tasks together with the team • Work independently on medium tasks that involve frontend, API, and backend parts • Review completed work together with at least one teammate to make sure the code works well and meets our standards • Cooperate with the technical lead, product owner, developers, and testers as you build the system together • Suggest ways to improve how you and the team develop software or solve technical challenges • Take responsibility for your code by writing automated tests and fixing problems when they come up What we expect from you: • Motivation, enthusiasm to take on new projects and eagerness to develop yourself professionally • At least 2 years of Java development experience • Knowledge of Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data) • Knowledge of Maven or Gradle • Knowledge of any modern front-end framework (e.g., Angular, React, Vue, Cycle) • Be comfortable speaking about the project, even with non-technical people • Be proficient in Hungarian, as this is the language of our internal communication • Be at least intermediate in English, as we have international clients as well What we offer to you: • We invest in your growth with performance reviews every 6 months — when your progress shows you’re ready, we’ll make sure your promotion reflects that. • Work on a MacBook or Lenovo and pick the gadgets that suit you best 👨‍💻 • Enjoy a hybrid setup with 1–2 days in our Budapest office (in the City Centre near Kálvin tér) — or more flexibility if you’re not based in Budapest.
