Funding Specialist (Virtual/Remote)

Ever helped a client go from "not fundable" to six figures in approved credit? We want to talk to you.

We're looking for a sharp, experienced Credit Analyst who can also think like a funding strategist — someone who knows the U.S. lending landscape inside and out, can read a credit profile, spot the fundability gaps, and build a real strategy to get clients approved for business credit cards, lines of credit, and loans. Not someone who fills out forms. Someone who thinks two steps ahead.

If you know the difference between a soft pull and a hard inquiry without googling it, and you've actually sequenced applications across Amex, Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, U.S. Bank, and Capital One — this is your role.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

As a Credit Analyst:

• Reviewing client personal and business credit profiles (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion) to determine funding-readiness
• Analyzing credit utilization, hard inquiries, and business fundability factors before any application is submitted

As a Funding Strategist:

• Building custom funding strategies and application sequences based on each client's real qualifications
• Preparing business credit card, personal credit card, LOC, and loan applications
• Researching the right banks and lenders for each client's specific profile
• Tracking every application, approval, denial, and reconsideration in our CRM
• Knowing when to tell a client "not yet" — timing and sequencing matter as much as the application itself
• Keeping our internal team looped in on every client's funding progress, clearly and proactively

What You Bring

• Real, hands-on experience with U.S. business and personal funding — not theoretical knowledge
• A working understanding of credit utilization, hard inquiries, business fundability, and EIN/business credit profiles
• Experience with major U.S. lenders (Amex, Chase, BofA, Wells Fargo, U.S. Bank, Capital One, etc.)
• Familiarity with 0% APR business credit card strategies (big plus)
• The judgment to explain why a strategy worked — not just show a screenshot and call it a day
• A strong compliance mindset: accurate, client-authorized information, always. No fabricated income, no altered documents, no shortcuts.
