About the Role:

We’re looking for a seasoned Fundraising Specialist who is not only experienced in identifying and securing funding, but also excels in negotiating partnerships, crafting persuasive proposals, and building long-term donor relationships. You will play a key role in expanding our resource base by proactively pursuing new grant opportunities, managing submission processes, and ensuring successful funding outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, including institutional donors, foundations, corporate CSR programs, and international grantmakers.
• Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality grant proposals, concept notes, letters of interest (LOIs), and funding applications.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with donors and partners, acting as a key liaison for communication and negotiation.
• Negotiate funding terms, agreements, and partnership frameworks in alignment with organizational priorities and donor expectations.
• Collaborate with program and finance teams to align project design with donor requirements, ensuring budget accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain an up-to-date calendar of deadlines for proposal submissions, donor reporting, and prospecting.
• Track and report on fundraising progress, pipeline development, and donor engagement activities.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven track record of successfully raising funds from donors, foundations, or corporate partners.
• 3+ years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, or donor relations, preferably within NGOs or mission-driven organizations.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to confidently engage donors and secure beneficial agreements.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to develop clear, compelling narratives and proposals in English.
• Proficiency in both English and Ukrainian (written and spoken).
• Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Familiarity with sectors such as human rights, economic development, mental health, education, or social innovation is a plus.
