Fusion Payroll Functional Consultant

Role Description The Fusion Payroll Functional Consultant will work in a contract, remote capacity, focusing on Oracle Fusion Payroll implementations and support. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing payroll and HR business requirements, configuring Oracle Fusion Payroll modules, and designing end-to-end business processes that align with client needs. The consultant will participate in workshops, document functional specifications, perform system testing, support data migration, and assist with user training and post-go-live stabilization. The role also involves collaborating with technical teams, advising clients on best practices, troubleshooting payroll issues, and preparing clear documentation and status reports for stakeholders.

• Strong analytical skills for problem-solving, requirements analysis, and interpreting complex payroll and HR data.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement, documentation, and remote collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated understanding of business processes, especially HR and payroll workflows, and experience mapping processes to system functionality.
• Consulting skills, including client-facing experience, advisory capabilities, and the ability to manage expectations and deliver solutions.
• Finance-related knowledge of payroll calculations, statutory compliance, and financial impacts of HR and payroll transactions.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Payroll configuration, testing, and implementation (or similar enterprise HR/payroll systems).
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet project deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, HR, or a related field; relevant Oracle certifications are an advantage.
• Experience in the ICT sector or with large-scale enterprise implementations within diverse industries is beneficial.
