RESPONSIBILITIES
Design the economic systems to drive players to play and enhance their game experience.
Manage the economy and pricing of virtual goods; balance between free content vs. paid currency in the game economy.
Balance customer experience and revenue opportunity for in-game currency and virtual goods.
Coordinate closely with the product, analytics teams, data scientists, and development teams to align Studio’s vision and expectations
Investigate different macroeconomic models for different segments of users.
Build and analyze simulations and predictive models to proactively forecast the results of changes to content.
Design and optimize LiveOps events and Offers and in-game features through a process of test-and-learn
Model changes in player behavior based on economy and live-game design modifications
QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years experience in a economic, statistics, or data role
Strong communication skills in English
Strong logic and analytical skills; background in sciences, mathematics, engineering, software engineering, and economics
Excel expert
Proficiency in Python and SQL a plus
Enjoy working with numbers, formulas and data analysis.
Ability to marry data insights with product intuition to provide effective solutions
Detail oriented and methodical; ability to prioritize efficiently
Proven track record of delivering optimization solutions
Knowledge of Tableau or others visual analytics tools a plus
Background in mobile games or applications is a plus.
