As a Level Designer, you will: Design new game mechanics and content from concept through implementation, as well as engaging levels, missions, and experiences using Unity3D and internal tools. Define level structure, sequencing, and difficulty progression to create an engaging player journey. Balance and maintain the levels, level funnels, and player journeys Design, support, analyze, and improve live ops events to increase player engagement and meet business goals. Analyze game metrics, KPIs, market trends, playtest results, team input, and community feedback to identify improvement opportunities. Collaborate with Product Owners and Data Analysts to define requirements, evaluate performance, and improve key game KPIs. Create and maintain clear design documentation, including level layouts, briefs, flowcharts, and feature specifications. Participate in key production reviews, design reviews, and development milestones. Contribute creative ideas and design leadership within an agile, multidisciplinary team. Continuously research industry trends, best practices, and emerging game and level design techniques and technologies. Requirements The Level Designer role requires: At least 3 years of level design experience in a mobile F2P studio or gaming company, with a focus on casual or hybrid-casual games and hands-on 3D level design in Unity 3D. Proven ability to conceptualize, create, implement, and manage complex level-design projects, level creation and balancing, using relevant tools and technologies in a fast-paced environment. Strong F2P mindset and experience using KPIs, analytics, spreadsheets, and analytical tools to make data-driven design and balancing decisions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and maintain detailed design documentation. Broad knowledge of the gaming market and current trends, with a strong passion for casual and hybrid-casual mobile games. Strong empathy and the ability to understand the needs, motivations, and experiences of the target audience.
