About The Role We're seeking an exceptional Member of Technical Staff, Applied AI to help lead the development of our cutting-edge AI platform. This is a unique opportunity to shape how artificial intelligence transforms legal work. You'll be the technical cornerstone of our AI initiatives, working directly with our CTO (ex-Replit) and founding data engineer (ex-Lyft, Instagram and Plaid) to architect systems that push the boundaries of what's possible with LLMs in the legal domain. 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years focused on AI systems. Deep expertise in LLM implementation and optimization. Strong track record of building production AI systems at scale. Experience with modern AI frameworks and tools. Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers. Strong foundation in TypeScript and modern software architecture. Nice to Have Experience with RAG systems and LLM evaluation. Familiarity with legal domain or legal text processing. Track record of technical publications or open-source contributions. Experience with multi-agent AI systems.
