Job Description Position Summary The GCO AI Enablement and Analytics Associate Director serves as the business-embedded technical expert responsible for advancing AI-enabled business transformation, advanced analytics, automation, and digital capabilities across Global Clinical Operations (GCO). As a key member of the Digitization Strategy Center of Excellence, this role will help shape and execute GCO's AI enablement and analytics strategy to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of clinical trial execution. The individual will operate at the intersection of clinical operations, process transformation, analytics, and emerging technologies. This role will provide the technical expertise needed to bridge clinical operations business needs with AI and digital capabilities, ensuring GCO can maximize value from existing and emerging platforms while building long-term organizational capability. The role will work closely with business stakeholders, DTE, vendors, and enterprise partners to evaluate solutions, support adoption, and serve as the business owner for one or more technical solutions. Key Duties & Responsibilities Support GCO's business transformation strategy in alignment with clinical operations priorities, enterprise digital initiatives, and organizational objectives. Identify opportunities to improve operational performance through development of advanced analytics, automation, process mining, and digital capabilities. Enable Performance Excellence initiatives within GCO through development of advanced and custom analytics Support the design, development, and deployment of low-code and no-code enabled solutions, reusable agents, prompt libraries, workflow automations, and analytics assets within approved enterprise platforms. Develop repeatable frameworks and reusable assets that accelerate adoption of AI-enabled capabilities throughout GCO. Act as GCO business lead for one more or digital platforms. Evaluate platform capabilities and identify opportunities to leverage advanced functionality, embedded analytics, automation, and AI-driven insights. Drive awareness and utilization of platform capabilities that improve operational efficiency and decision-making. Provide technical expertise for the evaluation of AI-enabled technologies, digital platforms, analytics tools, and automation solutions relevant to GCO. Develop evaluation frameworks, business requirements, proof-of-concept approaches, and adoption criteria for new technologies. Promote awareness of responsible AI principles, including transparency, accountability, human oversight, and appropriate use. Establish and lead communities of practice, super-user networks, and AI champion programs across GCO. Coach and mentor GCO stakeholders in advanced applications of AI, analytics, automation, and digital tools. Required Education Advanced degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Data science or similar disciplines required Required Experience Typically requires 8 years of experience, or the equivalent combination of education and progressive experience in clinical operations, business transformation, analytics, data science or operational excellence roles within life sciences, pharma, or healthcare. At least 5 years experience in AI/ digital transformation initiatives and understanding of enabling technologies Demonstrated success building advanced analytics outputs. Experience supporting or leading digital transformation and AI/automation initiatives preferred. Required Knowledge/Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in data science and AI/ML methodologies Experience with data analysis and visualization applications (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau) Knowledge of healthcare claims and electronic health record (EHR) data, with exposure in major U.S. real-world data (RWD) sources. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Excellent communication, influence, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across functions and levels. Ability to operate strategically while driving operational execution in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with cross-functional, matrixed teams in global organizations. Ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring deliverables are fully met on-time. Pay Range: $166,000 - $249,000 Disclosure Statement: The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
