GenAI Frontend Engineer (Fully Remote, W2 only)

Job Description This is a remote position. Our client, a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences, is looking for a “GenAI Frontend Engineer ”. Location: South San Francisco, CA (Fully Remote) Job Duration: Long-Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension) Company Benefits: Medical, Paid Sick Leave, 401 (k) We are seeking a GenAI Front-End Engineer to build reusable conversational and analytics experiences that can be embedded into enterprise applications. The ideal candidate has strong React/TypeScript expertise and hands-on experience integrating AI-powered UIs into existing applications through micro-frontends, Web Components, SDKs, or similar approaches. Key Responsibilities Build production-ready React + TypeScript applications and reusable UI components for GenAI experiences. Develop embedded AI experiences using micro-frontends, Web Components, Module Federation, SDKs, or secure iframes. Design clean APIs, SDK contracts, callbacks, events, and versioned interfaces for integration with host applications. Integrate host application context such as authentication, active screens, filters, selected objects, and user actions. Build conversational GenAI interfaces supporting streaming responses, multi-turn conversations, clarification flows, history, errors, tables, charts, and citations . Integrate REST and streaming APIs with secure authentication and token management. Collaborate with product, AI/ML, backend, and platform teams to deliver scalable enterprise AI experiences. Required Skills: Strong React and TypeScript development experience. Hands-on experience with embedded UI, micro-frontends, Web Components, or front-end SDKs . Experience designing integration APIs, events, callbacks, and reusable components . Experience building GenAI/conversational interfaces and streaming experiences. Strong knowledge of REST APIs, streaming APIs, authentication, and token management . Preferred Skills: Module Federation, Web Components, secure iframes MCP clients, embedded analytics, Enterprise Copilots/AI Agents AWS, Amazon Bedrock, AgentCore Experience building reusable UI/SDK solutions across multiple applications.
