German speaking Retail Operations Lead based in Frankfurt

Position: Retail Operations Lead (German) Location: Frankfurt, Germany (Hybrid/Remote) Employment type: Permanent Remuneration: Base salary + Annual Bonus. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Take ownership of retail operations across the German market, ensuring efficient day-to-day execution Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners and key stakeholders Coordinate operational activities across multiple retail accounts and distribution channels Monitor retail performance and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency Support the implementation and optimisation of retail processes and operational standards Work closely with the leadership team to execute the company's growth strategy in Germany Identify operational challenges and implement practical, solution-oriented improvements Prepare reports and provide regular business updates to management Travel periodically to the Netherlands for collaboration, planning and operational alignment Operate independently while taking full ownership of responsibilities and business outcomes. REQUIREMENTS: Native-level German and fluent business English, both written and spoken Previous experience in retail operations within the German retail market Experience working with major retail chains such as EDEKA, Rossmann, dm or similar retail networks is highly preferred Strong understanding of retail operations, distribution processes and account coordination Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders Commercial awareness and a high level of accountability Willingness to travel to Gouda, Netherlands approximately one to two days per month Previous experience in FMCG is an advantage Experience supporting the launch or growth of a new market or business function is an advantage.
