Votre impact Assurer l’administration quotidienne des ententes clients avec rigueur et ponctualité. Gérer les activités contractuelles, de la proposition jusqu’à l’exécution, les réclamations, la clôture et la période de garantie. Développer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies de réclamation, incluant avis, amendements et ordres de changement. Définir et appliquer les exigences de transmission contractuelle (« flow‑down ») avec les équipes Juridique et Approvisionnement. Soutenir les chargés de projet avec l’analyse contractuelle et la préparation des ordres de changement. Surveiller les écarts et modifications afin de protéger et faire respecter les droits contractuels. Coordonner avec le service juridique les réclamations majeures et recommander des solutions à des enjeux complexes. Préparer les matrices de livrables contractuels et présenter les éléments clés lors des rencontres de lancement de projet. Votre expérience Baccalauréat requis; une formation juridique ou un Juris Doctor est un atout. Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience en gestion contractuelle pour des projets EPC ou industriels comparables. Expérience démontrée en gestion des ordres de changement et des réclamations. Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, avec une forte capacité de négociation dans les deux langues. Excellentes compétences commerciales et communicationnelles, avec un état d’esprit proactif et axé solutions. As a Contract Manager at Hitachi Energy, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the success of complex, high impact infrastructure projects across Canada and beyond. In this role, you’ll lead customer contract development and administration as well as guide response to subcontractor claims through the full project lifecycle, ensuring clarity, compliance, and strategic execution. You will collaborate closely with project managers, legal experts, supply chain teams, and international partners to navigate agreements, strengthen commercial outcomes, and manage claims with confidence. How you’ll make an impact Lead day to day administration of customer agreements with accuracy and timeliness. Manage contract activities from proposal through execution, claims, closeout, and warranty phases. Develop and execute claim strategies, including notices, amendments, and change orders. Define and implement subcontract flowdown requirements with Legal and Supply Chain. Support Project Managers with contractual analysis and change order preparation. Monitor changes and deviations to protect and enforce contractual rights. Coordinate with Legal on major claims and recommend solutions to complex issues. Prepare contract deliverable matrices and present key content during project kickoffs. Your background Bachelor’s degree required; legal background or JD is an asset. Minimum 5 years of contract management experience in EPC or comparable industrial projects. Proven success in change order and claims management. Fluency in French and English, with strong negotiation capability in both languages. Strong commercial and communication skills with a proactive, solution oriented mindset.
