GIS Solutions Consultant Avineon, Inc. | Remote (U.S.) | Full-Time About the Role We're looking for a GIS Solutions Consultant to deliver live geospatial solutions directly to our clients. In this client-facing role, you'll administer enterprise GIS databases, build and automate geoprocessing workflows, and translate complex technical concepts into clear guidance for non-technical stakeholders. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, teaching, and solving real-world problems with Esri technology. What You'll Do Serve in a client services capacity, providing live geospatial solutions and support to clients Clearly translate and communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike Required Qualifications 5+ years of relevant experience Experience administering Esri Enterprise Databases, including key concepts: Versioning (Traditional and Branch) Views Replicas Reconcile/Post Compress Experience with SQL Server, including: Proficiency with SQL Server Management Studio SQL Server Agent Automation Extensive geoprocessing knowledge Scripting experience with Python, Arcpy, and JavaScript Extensive knowledge of ArcGIS Pro Experience with ArcGIS Online / ArcGIS Enterprise licensing and administration Experience supporting local government GIS utilization Preferred Qualifications Experience with Attribute Rules and Arcade within ArcGIS Pro ArcGIS Enterprise/ArcGIS Server experience, including Map and Feature Services Customizing and developing ArcGIS Pro add-ins Knowledge of Next Generation 911 (NG911) Experience working remotely Esri certifications (e.g., ArcGIS Pro Professional, ArcGIS Pro Associate) Soft Skills Strong technical troubleshooting ability Curiosity and a drive to keep learning Experience training or mentoring others Ability to multi-task effectively Collaborative team player Strong organizational skills Avineon, Inc. offers Professional/Career Development, Tuition/Education Assistance, Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Employer Paid Disability, Life, AD&D Insurance, Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off, Health & Wellness Programs, 401k Matching/Retirement Savings.
