For our long-standing client in the energy sector, we are looking for two
two GitLab Duo Specialists (Specification & Development Kick-off) to lead the automated execution and code generation pipeline.

The initiative aims to build a scalable, automated AI agent chain connecting planning with technical implementation:
- Atlassian Rovo: Handles initial requirements gathering and structures user stories.
- GitLab Duo: Receives validated stories, generates technical specs, builds code scaffolds and unit tests, and submits Merge Requests for human review.
- Core Deliverables: Working E2E prototype, standardized Jira $ ightarrow$ GitLab handover point, and scaling framework.
Intake Agent: Automatically pulls incoming Jira stories and extracts context from repositories and documentation.
Specification Agent: Derives technical specs (affected components, API interfaces, data models, test cases) and submits them for approval.
Implementation Agent: Creates branches, generates code scaffolding and initial unit tests, runs CI/CD pipelines, and opens Merge Requests (MR) with change summaries.
Jira Feedback Loop: Writes real-time status updates back into Jira.
Governance & Security Guardrails: Enforces service accounts, scoped tokens, protected branches, mandatory reviews, and full audit logging.
Knowledge Transfer: Delivers comprehensive documentation, demo scenarios, and scalable implementations.
GitLab Expertise: Advanced knowledge of GitLab CI/CD, runners, APIs, webhooks, and permissions management.
GitLab Duo: Practical experience with GitLab Duo (Chat, Code Suggestions, Agentic/Duo Workflows).
AI Engine & Tooling: Expertise in LLM integrations, prompt engineering, context provisioning, tool calling, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
Engineering Skills: Strong secure coding abilities in Python, TypeScript, Java, or similar languages.
Security Awareness: Strict handling of credentials/secrets and verification processes for AI-generated code.
