Role Description This is a full-time remote role for Global Agrochemical Business Development Experts/Consultants at Scimplify Crop Science. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities for agrochemical products across international markets, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and building strategic partnerships. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market and competitor analysis, preparing and presenting proposals, negotiating commercial terms, and supporting contract finalization. Team members will collaborate closely with technical, regulatory, and marketing functions to align product offerings with customer requirements and regional regulations. The role also includes nurturing long-term customer relationships, providing high-quality customer service, and contributing to sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to perform market research, evaluate opportunities, and interpret data for business decisions.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with global stakeholders, prepare clear documentation, and deliver persuasive presentations.
• Proven sales skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals in B2B or agrochemical-related markets.
• Customer service skills to build trust, respond to inquiries, and maintain long-term relationships with partners and clients.
• Business development experience in agrochemicals, crop protection, or related industries, with a focus on international markets.
• Knowledge of global agrochemical market dynamics, regulatory environments, and distribution channels is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate virtually with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Chemistry, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in consulting, commercial strategy, or product commercialization in crop science or agribusiness is an advantage.
• Comfort with digital tools for remote collaboration, CRM systems, and basic data analysis or reporting software.
