Job Description Summary About This Role This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of a global supply chain at enterprise scale. As a Generator Strategy & Growth Leader at GE Vernova, you will function as a change agent and strategic architect — defining the next-generation supply chain view that underpins sustainable operational and competitive excellence across Gas Power and GE Vernova. You will own the future-state Make-Buy landscape, footprint, technology, and capacity decisions that determine how GE Vernova builds and sources generators, components, and services — across every factory and supplier in the network. You will ideate, lead, and drive high-level commodity strategy decisions spanning technology, product configuration, and standardization, including the optimal positioning of value chains for customer impact and the inventory strategies that optimize Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) principles. Your decisions will influence delivery, quality, new product introduction (NPI), lead time, cost, and margin for both new units and services. Job Description Who We're Looking For You are a systems thinker and a hands-on executor — someone who can move fluidly between the big picture and the granular detail, and who brings both analytical rigor and organizational credibility. Required Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Finance, or a related discipline — or equivalent professional experience in a comparable field 6 years of professional experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Lean, Manufacturing, Strategy, Program Management, or Operational Excellence Demonstrated experience applying Lean and process-improvement methodologies to complex business or operational challenges Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive results through influence — including with stakeholders outside your direct organization Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced, matrixed environment Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively with senior leaders Preferred Experience developing and managing operational dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), benefit-tracking tools, and executive-level reporting Lean expertise including standard work, visual management, value-stream mapping, Kaizen, and continuous improvement Financial acumen with an understanding of cost, cash, contribution margin, CapEx, productivity metrics, and business-case development Familiarity with AI, automation, and digital tools applied to organizational productivity and decision-making Additional Information GE Vernova offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
