We have an opportunity for a Global Mobility Specialist to join us at Honeywell, in Bucharest , where you will be responsible for providing Business Partnering, technical and administrative support for the region and HR community in the area of tax, social security, payroll and immigration. The role will be responsible for employees working on temporary or expat assignments to and from multiple Europe Countries. This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model. Key responsibilities Oversee Romanian and designated GMS Europe countries as key GMS mobility location. Ensure project international work mobility compliance requirements are met. Align with Romania One Country HR model, taking responsibility for mobility requirements and partnerships for multiple countries in Europe. Support the implementation of the Project Assignment Mobility (PAM) Strategy in Europe and client billable projects’ requirements in the Region. Align, standardize and coordinate Project Mobility activities by providing technical mobility support and advice, ensuring close collaboration with other functions such as corporate tax, legal, finance, HR, payroll etc. for inbound and outbound mobility in Europe. Advise businesses and support travel compliance requirements within the EU region in compliance with EU Directive on posted workers. Educate and support key stakeholders in GMS agenda – payroll, HR community, Finance and Business leaders. Leverage service partners to determine most advantageous tax, immigration and social insurance positions depending on the project and the client to minimize costs and ensure full compliance. Leverage GMS strategies and policies to meet internal and external clients’ needs while ensuring legal and fiscal compliance. Ensure project closes correctly with final review of tax filings and immigration cessation. Support traditional mobility requirements as needed. Provide Europe mobility SME advice to other regional team members. Keep updated technical knowledge on mobility compliance requirements in assigned Europe Countries. Support the GMS Regional Leader in the operational expertise needed to implement Mobility strategies for the region with a focus on assigned countries in Europe. Prepare and review monthly and quarterly reports to update the team on ongoing projects, compliance questions, processes, etc. Initiate and coordinate PAM assignments in GMS tool. Coordinate and collect documentation and information required for social security authorities. Research and preparation of compliance analysis to present and recommend next steps to support our clients’ needs. Provide necessary information and documents for assigned Europe Countries inbound and outbound population. Manage internal and external service providers (EY, Fragomen etc) to ensure and confirm that the appropriate compliance actions are taken. Interpret and implement service partner advisories adapted to business parameters and requirements. Ensure day-to-day working relationships with non-HR functions that are required to support mobility management, including but not limited to: Finance, Tax (Corporate and Individual), General Counsel, Payroll, and Risk Management. Key skills and qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent 3 to 5 years of Global Mobility Experience English Fluency Mobility compliance technical knowledge for Romania and other Europe countries: Immigration, social Tax, Income Tax. Ability to think strategically and operationally. Must have experience in mobility program operations, utilizing to the fullest extent external service providers in the GMS network. Possess strong business and client relationship building skills. Must be able to implement delivery of GMS strategy through influence. Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, operational and leadership skills, and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple, often competing constituents. Must have strong consultative and problem solving skills.
