This is a critical leadership role in ensuring the successful production and supply of high-quality parent seed across Vylor's global operations. This position sits at the intersection of seed production, supply chain, quality systems, genetic testing, and research, translating complex technical information into practical solutions that enable business success. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to influence strategy, establish global standards, and drive innovation across the parent seed network. The successful candidate will collaborate with teams around the world to advance best practices, improve quality outcomes, solve complex business challenges, and lead initiatives supporting next-generation traits, hybrid wheat, advanced testing technologies, and digital quality transformation. VISA Sponsorship is not available for this position. This is a hybrid role working in-office Tuesday–Thursday; remote Monday and Friday. What You’ll Do: Own and maintain Global Parent Quality Plans within the Quality Management System (EQUIPT), ensuring documentation remains current, practical, risk-based, and aligned with business needs. Serve as the primary steward of global parent production quality requirements, partnering with production locations to enable successful implementation and execution. Lead investigations of quality plan deviations, non-conformances, and operational failures through structured Root Cause Investigation (RCI) methodologies. Facilitate cross-functional teams to identify corrective and preventive actions that reduce risk and improve business outcomes. Analyze quality trends, testing results, quality indicators, production data, and operational metrics to proactively identify opportunities for improvement. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen quality performance, increase operational efficiency, and enhance customer outcomes. Partner closely with Production, Planning, Research & Development, Seed Operations, Field Excellence, Plant Excellence, Regulatory, Stewardship, and Laboratory teams to ensure alignment on parent quality strategy. Influence stakeholders across multiple regions and functions to establish, implement, and sustain global standards. Lead strategic initiatives with quality implications, including hybrid wheat development, next-generation trait deployment, testing strategy evolution, quality system modernization, and digital transformation efforts. Participate in the development and implementation of future-state quality processes, systems, dashboards, and analytics capabilities. Support quality governance through effective communication of standards, expectations, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership. Champion a culture of quality, continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence across the global parent network. Education: Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Seed Science, Genetics, Plant Science, Agricultural Business, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. What Skills You Need: 5-10+ years of experience in quality, seed production, supply chain, operations, research, agronomy, or related disciplines. Demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems using data, systems thinking, and cross-functional collaboration. Proven ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences. Experience leading projects, initiatives, or process improvements across multiple functions. Ability to work effectively in a global environment across cultures, geographies, and time zones. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Demonstrated curiosity, learning agility, and continuous improvement mindset. What Makes You Stand Out: Knowledge of parent seed production systems. Experience with genetic testing technologies, SNP data, purity testing, or quality characterization. Experience conducting Root Cause Investigations and implementing corrective actions. Experience with quality management systems, process governance, and operational standards. Knowledge of SAP, inventory management systems, or supply chain planning processes. Experience with Power BI, SQL, Databricks, statistical analysis, or other data visualization and analytics tools. Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, or continuous improvement certification. Experience leading global or cross-regional projects. Advanced degree (M.S., MBA, or equivalent).
