Global Payroll Manager

As our new Global Payroll Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our international operations, taking the lead on payroll across the EMEA, US, and APAC regions. This is a critical, hands-on role where you’ll combine high-level operational oversight with the day-to-day execution of our end-to-end monthly payroll. Reporting directly to our US-based Global Payroll, Tax and Compliance Manager, you’ll ensure accuracy, standardization, and compliance, all while collaborating closely with a supportive cross-functional team across the globe. What you will do - ● Manage end-to-end payroll operations for global regions (EMEA, APAC, US, CAN), ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing and delivery ● Ensure compliance with all relevant local labor laws, tax regulations, and internal governance standards ● Partner with external payroll providers and internal stakeholders to streamline operations and resolve issues ● Serve as the go-to contact for payroll questions from employees, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring clear and accurate communication ● Maintain and improve payroll-related systems, processes, and controls ● Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations for Accounting, Finance and HR teams ● Assist with timely payroll journal entry delivery during month-end close ● Support audits and implement recommendations for continuous improvement ● Work with the Global Payroll lead on an automation agenda ● Collaborate with HR to ensure data accuracy and alignment with employee lifecycle events (e.g. onboarding, promotions, terminations) Qualifications - ● 9+ years proven experience managing multi-country payroll operations across US, European and APAC jurisdictions, experience in Japan, HK, South Korea, UK, BE, UAE, or Germany is a plus. ● Strong knowledge of European labor law and statutory requirements is required. ● Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills. ● Demonstrated experience managing relationships with external payroll providers across multiple countries. ● Outstanding internal & external-facing customer service skills with a sense of urgency. ● Must be self-driven and able to work autonomously. ● Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup functions. ● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and international environment. ● Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. ● Fluent written and spoken English is required.
