In this highly visible leadership role, you will advance, scale and continuously improve a global Tax Operations organisation responsible for delivering compliant, efficient and standardised tax processes across multiple regions. Reporting to the Head of Tax and being part of the Global Tax Leadership Team, you will lead a large international tax operations team focusing on indirect taxes, drive operational excellence, and play a key role in transforming the way tax services are delivered across our global business. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced tax operations leader who thrives in complex multinational environments and is passionate about building high-performing teams, closely partnering with the Global Tax Finance Process Owner to drive process transformation, and delivering operational excellence at scale. How You'll Make an Impact Lead and strengthen the global Tax Operations function, enhancing its operating model, governance framework, and organizational effectiveness. Drive the execution of consistent, accurate and compliant end-to-end transactional tax processes, thrive continuous improvement in tax compliance, data quality, and reporting effectiveness across all regions. Drive large-scale process transitions, integrations and stabilisation activities while maintaining business continuity throughout transformation programmes. Standardise and optimise tax compliance operations globally, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, controls and scalability. Set and monitor KPIs and quality standards to ensure effective and efficient execution of the tax strategy. Develop a high-performing global team, ensuring effective workforce planning, capability development and resource allocation. Coordinate responses to tax authority audits and inquiries in alignment with the Global Tax Strategy and internal stakeholders. Act as the main escalation point for tax compliance issues and drive timely, sustainable resolution working with tax managers and practice team leaders. Partner closely with tax, finance, IT, legal, supply chain and regional/local business stakeholders to ensure operational delivery remains aligned with global requirements and business objectives. Your Background Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Tax, Business Administration or a related field. 15+ years of experience in global tax functions, tax process management, shared services, or similar tax operations environments. Demonstrated success leading complex global tax compliance or operational delivery organisations across multiple regions from APAC, Americas and EMEA. Significant people leadership experience, including leading large, geographically dispersed teams of 50+ employees. Strong track record of delivering global process transformation, operating model implementation and tax transformation programmes. Deep experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, tax engines, indirect tax compliance tools and other enterprise technologies. Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and successfully operate within complex multinational organisations.
