About the Role
We're looking for a full-time Google Ads Specialist to manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns for local businesses throughout the United States.
Google Ads is the primary focus of this position.
Experience with Meta Ads is preferred, but not required. If you're experienced with Google Ads and willing to learn Meta Ads, we'll happily teach you.
This is a hands-on role where you'll manage campaigns, improve performance, test new ideas, create ad assets, collaborate with our team, and occasionally participate in client meetings.
This is not a freelance position.
We're looking for someone who wants to become a long-term member of our team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Build Google Ads campaigns from scratch
- Optimize Search campaigns for local businesses
- Improve Quality Scores and conversion rates
- Perform keyword research
- Create and test new ad copy
- Manage budgets and bidding strategies
- Use Google Ads Editor to manage accounts efficiently
- Build and optimize Meta Ads campaigns (training provided if needed)
- Create creative concepts and assets for Meta campaigns
- Use AI tools to generate and test new creative ideas
- Build remarketing campaigns
- Analyze performance data and identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with our internal team through Slack and ClickUp
- Attend internal meetings during US business hours
- Occasionally join client meetings
Requirements
- 3+ years of Google Ads experience
- Experience managing campaigns for local businesses
- Strong understanding of Search campaigns
- Experience using Google Ads Editor
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical mindset
- Comfortable working with data
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Reliable internet connection
- Ability to work US business hours
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
Nice to Have
- Meta Ads experience
- Google Analytics
- SEMrush or similar SEO/PPC tools
- Local SEO knowledge
- AI prompting experience
- Experience creating ad creatives
- Canva, Photoshop or Figma
- Understanding of landing page optimization
- Experience running retargeting campaigns
- Client-facing experience
