Telehealth GPs & Nurse Practitioners – Train with TytoCare & Work Remotely

A key part of these opportunities is the use of TytoCare technology, allowing clinicians to undertake more comprehensive remote patient assessments than traditional phone or video consultations.

You don't need previous TytoCare experience – we will train you.

We are looking for GPs and NPs who are interested in learning how to use TytoCare within a supported telehealth environment. Omni Health will provide the training and support you need to become confident using the technology and delivering care remotely.

What is TytoCare?

TytoCare is a remote examination technology that enables clinicians to access clinical information during a telehealth consultation, supporting assessments that would traditionally require the patient to be physically present in the practice.

Combined with the support of our on-site nursing and administration teams, it provides an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality primary care from wherever you are based.

Your Role - Depending on the needs of the practice, your work may include:

• Providing remote telehealth consultations.
• Undertaking TytoCare-supported patient consultations.
• Managing your clinical inbox and correspondence.
• Reviewing results and other clinical information.
• Reviewing and authorising prescriptions prepared by the nursing team.
• Working collaboratively with our on-site clinical teams to ensure continuity of patient care.

About You

For our GP opportunities, you will hold current registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate. For our Nurse Practitioner opportunities, you will hold current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate.

You will also:

• Be an experienced primary care clinician.
• Be comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Have experience with electronic patient management systems, ideally Medtech or Indici.
• Be confident managing clinical inboxes, correspondence and prescription authorisations.
• Be comfortable working collaboratively with clinicians and support teams based at the practice.
• Most importantly, be interested in learning how TytoCare can support you to deliver quality patient care remotely.
