Is this job info correct?

Graduate Engineer At Anemoi, we’re transforming the maritime industry with cutting-edge Rotor Sail technology that brings modern engineering and sustainability together. From our headquarters in the UK and our production base in China, we design, build and deliver advanced automated wind-assisted propulsion systems that help shipowners and operators reduce fuel consumption and emissions — propelling the shipping industry towards a cleaner, more sustainable future. Our ambition is bold but clear: to save 1,000 tonnes of CO ₂ every day by installing 500 Rotor Sails by 2030. Imagine fleets of vessels crossing the world’s oceans using our Rotor Sail systems, harnessing renewable wind power to operate more efficiently and responsibly. We’re making that a reality, one installation at a time. What you'll be doing This role offers the opportunity to get involved in al most every aspect of Anemoi's engineering activities. Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll help develop, test, commission and support Rotor Sail technology from initial concept through to operation on board ships. No two weeks are the same, and you'll gain experience across design, R&D, manufacturing, testing, commissioning and field support. You'll be involved in: Supporting the design and development of new Rotor Sail systems and engineering improvements. Producing 3D CAD models, engineering drawings and prototype designs for manufacture. Working with the R&D team to develop, test and validate new ideas , materials and engineering solutions. Investigating technical problems, carrying out root cause analysis and helping develop practical engineering solutions. Supporting testing programmes, collecting engineering and performance data, analysing results and feeding findings back into future designs. Working closely with the Performance Verification team to understand how systems perform in real operating conditions and identify opportunities for improvement. Supporting the commissioning, installation and operation of Rotor Sail systems at supplier facilities and on-board vessels. Visiting ships to diagnose faults, support repairs and work alongside customers during maintenance activities. Producing clear technical documentation including test reports, engineering procedures and maintenance documentation. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across engineering, manufacturing and field operations. Travelling within the UK and internationally (including China) to support installations, commissioning activities and technical investigations. What we're looking for We're looking for someone who enjoys solving engineering problems and wants to gain experience across a wide range of engineering disciplines rather than specialising in just one area. You'll probably have : Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering discipline. Graduate or up to around 2 years' engineering experience. An interest in mechanical design and product development. Practical hands-on engineering skills and a willingness to get involved with testing, assembly and fault finding. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. Curiosity and a desire to understand why things fail, not just how to repair them. Good communication skills and confidence working with colleagues, suppliers and customers. Experience using CAD software would be beneficial. Willingness to travel internationally. Interest in renewable energy, shipping or decarbonisation technologies. Why this role is different This isn't a traditional graduate design role. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and quickly gain exposure to mechanical design, research and development, testing, manufacturing, commissioning, fault finding and engineering support. One week you could be designing a new component , the next testing prototypes in the workshop, and the following week travelling to a ship to help diagnose and resolve a technical issue. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, likes getting hands-on and wants to become a well-rounded engineer. Benefits Competitive salary + annual bonus Private Medical Insurance with Vitality Employee Assistance Programme Life Assurance Workplace Pension (Aviva) 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays Hybrid working – 2 fixed days in the London office (Tues & Wed) Bike-to-work scheme
