AECOM is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Entry Level Structural Engineer to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. As a bridge Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and analyzing various structural systems for bridges on infrastructure projects. This position is expected to start in May 2027. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Perform structural analysis and design calculations for diverse projects Develop and review structural drawings and specifications using CAD software Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress Prepare technical reports and present findings to project managers and clients Assist in the preparation of project proposals and cost estimates Stay updated on industry standards, building codes, and emerging technologies Participate in quality control processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Preferred Qualifications: Previous internship or professional experience in structural engineering. Proficiency in structural analysis software. Strong skills in AutoCAD and/or Revit. Solid understanding of structural design principles and various construction materials. Knowledge of building codes and standards. Excellent mathematical and problem-solving abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred. Willingness to travel to project sites as needed. Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in Phoenix, AZ or Tucson, AZ. The selected candidate must be available to work in Phoenix, AZ or Tucson, AZ on a scheduled basis.
