Is this job info correct?

The American Camp Association® (ACA) is a national nonprofit organization serving the more than 20,000 year-round and summer camps in the US that annually serve 26 million campers. ACA is committed to empowering camps to create quality experiences that build a world of belonging and growth. We are looking for a remote, full-time Grantee Success Manager . Someone to serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of grantee camps, building and sustaining strong relationships while providing support through the life of the grant What would you do if hired? Develop genuine, working knowledge of each grantee – learn about their program design, goals, community, and operating context, so ACA’s engagement is grounded in deep understanding rather than generic check-ins. Facilitate peer learning and community among the grantee cohort – nurture genuine connection by organizing and managing both in-person and virtual grantee events and learning experiences, including the event calendar, presenters, logistics, budget, and timely follow-up. Support and lead in-person grantee engagement events – including those at national and regional conferences, smaller grantee cohort convenings, and individual grantee camp tours. Manage grantee records in both Foundant and the CRM – including timely submission of reports and pulling of key data from Foundant and maintaining accurate engagement tracking within CRM. Review grantee reports and requests for completeness and alignment with approved plans and budgets, liaising regularly with other Directors, both within and outside of your team, when necessary. Connect with the Research & Evaluation team to support grantees’ timely, effective implementation of surveys and other evaluation activities, serving as a bridge between grantee realities and the evaluation team’s needs. Collaborate with the Educational Content and Communications teams to help distill, translate, and disseminate learnings and promising practices from the grantee experiences to the broader community. Work with the Membership team to help grantees build deeper, more enduring relationships with ACA, so that their engagement with ACA continues and grows well beyond the life of the grant. Provide support to grant applicants before, during, and after the grant proposal submission window. Represent ACA at meetings and conferences in a variety of roles, including lead presenter, co-facilitator, and liaison at exhibit halls. What are we looking for in a candidate? Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience; 3+ years in grants/program management, camp, or youth development leadership, or nonprofit relationship management. Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of relationships with strong organization and follow-through. Excellent written and verbal communication, including comfort with public-facing facilitation and delivering constructive feedback. Experience working with budgets, reports, or compliance documentation in a grant or program context. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools; comfort learning new platforms (i.e. Foundant, Dynamics 365). Ability to travel occasionally for grantee gatherings, camp tours, and Initiative events. Direct experience in camp, out-of-school-time, or youth-development settings, preferred. Experience designing or facilitating peer learning communities, cohorts, or events, preferred. Familiarity with grants management systems (e.g., Foundant) and CRM platforms (e.g., Dynamics 365), preferred. Experience with character development, social-emotional learning, or related youth-outcome frameworks, preferred. What salary and benefits do we offer? Health, vision, and dental insurance for employee and dependents with limited employer contribution. Retirement plan with generous employer match. Generous time off-plans including sick, vacation, personal, and holidays. Non-voluntary benefits include life insurance and long-term disability. Voluntary benefits offered include additional life insurance, short-term disability, and other supplemental options for employee and dependents. Salary: $52-59k, commensurate with experience. Anticipated Start Date: September/October 2026 This is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. The American Camp Association celebrates diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate in recruitment, hiring, training, promotion, or other employment practices for reasons of age, race, color, religion, national origin, sex, disability, medical condition, veteran status, marital status, sexual orientation, genetics, or any other non-job-related factor. We also consider qualified applicants regardless of criminal histories, consistent with legal requirements. The American Camp Association works to make applying for positions accessible for all, including those with disabilities. If you require alternative methods of application or screening, please email us at hr@acacamps.org.
