At Spectrum Science, our mission—connecting humankind to its best healthlife—comes to life through a culture rooted in curiosity, collaboration, and innovation. We believe breakthrough ideas happen when diverse perspectives are embraced and people are empowered to challenge what’s possible. Join our team of award-winning health-focused experts across advertising, clinical trial experience, communications, consulting, media, medical communications, and patient engagement. Together, we create the momentum that moves science, brands, and careers forward. ABOUT THE ROLE The Graphic Designer plays a key role in shaping bold, innovative visual communications for a diverse range of audiences. This fully remote position offers the chance to collaborate with passionate colleagues and leverage industry-leading tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Figma to deliver impactful digital, web, social, and print work. We’re looking for someone who is not only creative and digitally savvy, but also eager to learn, adapt, and grow alongside our evolving team—bringing fresh ideas and a willingness to push boundaries in the health space. Job Responsibilities Design and produce visual assets for digital, web, social, and print campaigns, bringing fresh ideas and creative solutions to healthcare communications (including clinical trials). Apply strong foundational design skills—layout, color, typography, and composition—to create clear, engaging visuals. Deliver creative work that meets brand standards, regulatory guidelines, and project deadlines, maintaining a high standard of quality and consistency. Follow creative direction and project guidelines provided by senior team members, adapting work as needed to meet expectations. Edit and refine existing design assets based on feedback, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project goals. Contribute to web and digital design projects and presentations, leveraging tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and PowerPoint. Manage internal file organization and asset libraries, ensuring assets are well-organized and accessible. Collaborate with creative, strategy, and delivery teams in a fast-paced, multi-project environment, adapting creative approaches to meet project needs. Participate in team meetings, training, and internal review cycles, demonstrating a willingness to learn, grow, and experiment with new design tools, techniques, and trends. Remain open to feedback and constructive critique, continuously improving design work and processes. Desired Skills and Qualifications 2–4 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally in an agency setting. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Some experience with Figma, PowerPoint, web design tools, and basic knowledge of UX/UI design is preferred. Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, responsiveness, and effective communication. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage files and assets. Collaborative mindset, openness to feedback, adaptability to shifting priorities. Willingness to participate in training and team development; ability to learn new skills and processes. Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical marketing is preferred but not required. All applicants must provide a portfolio of previous design work in order to be considered. The anticipated salary range for this position will be $28.85-$33.65/hour. This position is eligible for overtime pay. Salary is based on job-related factors such as: years of relevant experience, qualifications and/or certifications. Spectrum reserves the right to modify this pay range at any given time. We want to ensure our employees are living their best (health and professional) life and offer a variety of benefits and perks which support our flexible work environment. All positions are remote friendly. At Spectrum, you choose where you work. We are a hybrid work environment with options to work in one of our three offices (D.C., New York, and Chicago), remotely from anywhere in the United States, or a combination. No matter where you work, you’ll benefit from the monthly cell phone reimbursement. Flexible time off. Take the time you need in addition to company holidays, voting time, jury duty and bereavement. We also offer a Sabbatical Program after 7 years of service. 13 weeks paid Parental Leave, inclusive of adoption and foster care placement. Continuous learning and development through Greatest Potential Self (proprietary talent program), tuition reimbursement programs, and in-house 1:1 coaching with access to talent and productivity-based assessments. Bring your friends to work at Spectrum and earn a generous referral bonus. Medical concierge service to assist with scheduling appointments, finding care, estimating and resolving claim issues, etc. Thorough onboarding including accessible conversations with leadership. 401k with company match and 1:1 Financial Coaching and Education.
