About The Role
We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our Buildings & Infrastructure Americas team. This role is ideal for a proactive, creative, and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing visually engaging graphics and content to support proposals, presentations, and marketing materials. From initial concept to final delivery, you will play a vital role in creating compelling visual communications that effectively convey complex ideas and technical data. The position offers flexibility, with options for remote work for qualified candidates residing in the East and North East regions of the U.S. The successful candidate will demonstrate technical expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud applications and presentation software, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly across teams and time zones.
Qualifications
- 6-8 years of professional graphic design experience
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related discipline from an accredited institution
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
- Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience with proposal and sales support, especially within architectural, engineering, or construction sectors
- Ability to interpret technical data and develop visually compelling solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Flexibility to adjust working hours for collaboration across different time zones
- Willingness to work occasional overtime or on weekends as required
Preferred qualifications include experience with ArcGIS plug-ins, SketchUp, Streetmix, interactive PDFs, illustration, and hand sketching skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of strategic graphic design solutions to support proposals, marketing collateral, and presentations with minimal supervision
- Design and conceptualize impactful graphics that enhance messaging and engagement
- Collaborate with proposal teams and technical staff to ensure visual content aligns with project objectives and client needs
- Transform complex technical data and concepts into clear, accessible visual formats
- Maintain awareness of current trends in graphic design and incorporate best practices into workflows
- Mentor and support team members in technical design skills and processes
- Coordinate with external vendors and production teams to ensure high-quality output and adherence to printing and digital specifications
- Contribute to process improvements, efficiency, and productivity within the creative team
- Proof and review work to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency
- Support remote collaboration with team members across various locations and time zones
