Background & Role Overview
The Group Financial Accountant supports the Group Financial Controller in delivering accurate financial reporting, maintaining a strong financial control environment, and ensuring compliance across the Group's UK and Saudi Arabian operations
The role acts as the bridge between transactional finance and financial leadership, taking ownership of management accounting, balance sheet integrity, revenue recognition, VAT compliance, intercompany accounting, and month-end reporting processes. The role provides challenge, analysis, and insight to support informed business decision-making while ensuring financial records are accurate, complete, and audit-ready.
Working closely with operational and commercial stakeholders, the Group Financial Accountant will support the development of robust financial processes, controls, and reporting capabilities to enable the continued growth of the organisation. The role will also provide guidance and oversight to the Group Finance Assistant, ensuring transactional processing is completed accurately and efficiently.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
Travel Requirements
Regular travel between the UK and Saudi Arabia is required (frequency based on operational needs, typically monthly or bi-monthly).

Requirements
Essential
Fully qualified or finalist ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
Experience preparing management accounts and month-end reporting.
Strong balance sheet reconciliation experience.
Understanding of IFRS 15 revenue recognition.
Experience with accruals, prepayments, and journal postings.
Experience supporting external audits.
Strong Excel and financial systems skills.
Experience working within a multi-entity environment.
Strong analytical and business partnering capabilities.
Desirable
Experience working in a Consultant/Contractor centric organisation
Experience using Xero and/or Zoho.
Experience supporting finance transformation projects.
Exposure to Saudi Arabian entities or international group structures.
