At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode - pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next. The Role Behind every title a member streams is a complex content supply chain. Content Ingestion & Distribution (CI&D) is the team that helps design the systems and workflows that bring content, metadata, and rights into Netflix, validate and process them, and orchestrate their path all the way to launch on service. As Netflix expands into new content types and deal structures this is the team that enables the business to move faster across a growing diversity of partners, formats, and volumes. We are looking for a strong product leader to serve as Group Product Manager for CI&D Product. You will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap across a portfolio spanning content ingestion pipelines, content distribution and delivery, and the internal platform and tooling that our operations teams rely on every day. Your charter is anchored in three principles: make delivering to Netflix the easiest part of a partner's day, simplify the path between ingestion and publish, and manage risk instead of titles and assets. Your team of Product Managers partners with Engineering, Operations, and Design to build and scale the platforms, services, and tools that move content through the business — while resisting the temptation to treat every new deal as a bespoke one-off. Just as importantly, you will be a close product partner to the operational teams who run these workflows, turning their hardest problems into a durable product strategy. This is a high-leverage role with direct impact on the speed, quality, and cost with which content reaches members around the world. In this role, you will: Set the strategy: define and drive the multi-quarter product vision for CI&D, connecting ingestion, distribution, and platform investments to measurable reductions in manual intervention and turnaround time across content archetypes. Own the products that make delivering to Netflix effortless: unified direct delivery via APIs, web portals, and standards-based feeds; spec-agnostic ingestion; partner onboarding and permissioning; metadata capture; and automated asset evaluation and QC. Lead distribution & the path to publish: own the orchestration that simplifies the path between ingestion and launch — automation as the default launch path, an extensible catalog architecture that lets new content bets evolve safely, and reliable fulfillment to the platforms and systems the business depends on. Partner with operations and key cross-functional team: act as the primary product partner to operational teams; translate operational pain points into a prioritized backlog and pair operational KPIs (turnaround time, launch readiness, issues per launch, manual steps reduced) with product investment. Work with partner domains to streamline asset workflows and launches. Lead and grow a team: hire, coach, and develop a team of Product Managers; set clear goals, raise the bar on product craft, and create the conditions for your PMs to do the best work of their careers. Drive cross-functional alignment: partner across Rights, Encoding Technologies, Localization, Content Foundations, Member Product, and Operations to sequence dependencies, drive effective debate, and land crisp decisions. Communicate with clarity: use top-notch written and verbal communication to provide context to stakeholders ranging from individual engineers to senior leadership, and to uncover new areas of opportunity. Your Background Includes... 10+ years of product management experience for B2B focused products A track record shipping complex technical or platform products ideally in content supply chain, media processing, ingestion/distribution pipelines, workflow orchestration, developer/partner platforms, or large-scale operational systems. Strong systems thinking and technical acumen: comfort reasoning about pipelines, APIs, data models, automation, and the trade-offs between speed, quality, cost, and risk. You don't need to code, but you should work deeply with engineering. Demonstrated ability to partner with operational teams and translate operational realities into product strategy and roadmap. Data-driven analysis and decision-making, with excellent judgment and prioritization in ambiguous, high-scale environments. Experience building automation- or ML/AI-powered products that reduce manual effort at scale is a strong plus. Demonstrated experience collaborating across engineers, designers, data scientists, and business partners in a highly cross-functional, matrixed organization. Outstanding written and verbal communication, including the ability to present technical content to non-technical audiences. People leadership with experience developing talent, giving candid feedback, and elevating the craft of the PMs around them. Experience in media, entertainment, or streaming is a strong plus.
