Job Title: Group Treasury & Cashflow Manager Location: London – Hybrid (plus travel as required) We are Strata! Imagine being part of a fast and exciting brand experience agency whose clients include specialists in new technology, creators of some of the most stunning electric vehicles on the planet, financial institutions, and global leaders in pharmaceutical solutions. As an agency, we elevate these brands and make them heard through immersive and memorable virtual and face 2 face experiences. As a people-first business, we encourage ambition, support and reward. We’re always listening and open to your ideas, just as we do with our clients. Our name? It’s Strata, an agency on a mission to be the very best. This means we always want to hear from the very best creative and intelligent souls who genuinely believe that every moment matters. Job Overview The Group Treasury & Cashflow Manager will strengthen and further develop Strata’s Group-wide approach to treasury, cashflow visibility and liquidity planning. Working across all seven operating companies - Strata Create, Wonderland, Element, On Event Production Co., Trinity Event Solutions, Collider and Sherbet - together with the holding company and any entity operating outside the UK, the role will provide a clear, forward-looking view of cash, funding requirements and financial commitments to support confident commercial decision-making. Our work is project-based, with costs, deposits, supplier prepayments, freelance crew, venue commitments and staged client billing often moving at different speeds, in different currencies, across seven businesses. Major productions can create material short-term movements in Group cash, so this role brings structure, consistency and insight to the cashflow view, ensuring treasury supports growth, operational discipline and informed decision-making. The role reports to the Group CFO, works closely with the Group COO, and is the Group's single point of contact for banks, facility providers and our investors on all matters of liquidity, covenant and cash. It works collaboratively with finance leads in each operating company, sharing standards, systems and best practice. This is a build role - the model, the policy and the banking relationships are owned from day one. Key Responsibilities Cashflow Forecasting Build and run a rolling 13-week direct cashflow forecast at Group and operating company level, refreshed weekly Own the medium-term view - 12-month (rolling) cashflow bridged to budget and forecast Forecast at project level for major productions, so cash exposure is visible before the Group commits, not after Track forecast accuracy, explain variances and improve the model each cycle Set the standard for operating company forecast submissions and challenge them where they do not hold up Liquidity & Banking Manage day-to-day Group liquidity and headroom, with a known cash position across every account every morning Own bank and facility relationships, drawdowns and account structure Assess and implement cash pooling or sweeping where the entity structure allows Maintain and stress-test covenant headroom, and produce covenant compliance reporting to the required calendar Manage all investor interest payments (facility, loan note & other related) Own the payment run, authorisation matrix and banking controls across all entities Working Capital Drive working capital performance across the Group: debtor days, creditor terms, WIP, unbilled revenue, deposit and staged-payment discipline Set and monitor working capital targets by operating company with the Group CFO and COO Work with commercial and finance leads to fix causes rather than chase symptoms - billing milestones that do not match delivery, contracts signed on terms we cannot fund, purchase orders raised without cash cover Support debtor escalation with evidence, working alongside account leads Risk, FX & Structure Identify and manage foreign currency exposure on international projects and supplier commitments Recommend and execute a hedging policy that is proportionate rather than exotic Manage intercompany funding, balances and settlement, keeping positions clean and documented Own counterparty and payment fraud controls Work with the Group CFO and external advisers on the treasury implications of entity structure, including entities operating outside the UK Reporting & Governance Produce the weekly cash report to the executive and the treasury pack for Board and investor reporting Draft, implement and maintain the Group treasury policy and delegated authority framework Support funding events, refinancing and transaction-related cash reporting Provide cash and funding input to acquisition activity and integration planning Systems & Continuous Improvement Own the treasury toolset, assessing whether current systems are fit for a group of this scale and leading selection and implementation if they are not Automate the manual - consolidating seven spreadsheets by hand is not a long-term answer Define, document and maintain treasury processes and frameworks, scaling them as the business grows Collaboration Across Strata and the Group Partner closely with operating company finance leads, Managing Directors and commercial teams Build treasury literacy across the Group so cash discipline is understood at brief stage, not at invoice stage Contribute to Group-wide procurement, banking and supplier consolidation initiatives Work within Group operating disciplines: (Tool TBA) for project budgeting, Monday.com for project management and resourcing, CRM for opportunity The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the below experience: • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW)/ACT qualified or equivalent treasury experience at scale. • Proven ownership of cashflow forecasting in a multi-entity group - a 13-week forecast built from scratch, not merely maintained • Strong working capital track record, with clear evidence of what was changed and what it delivered • Proven experience owning banking relationships, banking/loan facilities and covenant reporting • Advanced financial modelling, including consolidation across multiple entities and systems • Strong commercial awareness and the credibility to challenge Managing Directors and commercial leads • Excellent organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills • Experience within a private equity backed or high-growth business, including investor reporting and covenant discipline • Project-based sector background - agency, production, construction or contracting - where cash and revenue recognition diverge • Multi-currency and international operations exposure • Treasury management system selection and implementation • Experience in a group that has completed acquisitions and integrated finance functions • Highly detail-oriented and process-driven • Calm and decisive under pressure • Comfortable being the person who says a project does not have cash cover, and comfortable being challenged on it • Pragmatic, proactive and solutions-focused • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills • Curious about the operation, not just the ledger Employee Benefits 25 days annual leave, plus usual Bank Holidays Birthday day off Private Health Insurance* Workplace pension scheme Death in service scheme Cycle to work scheme Hybrid working arrangement Regular social events *Upon successful completion of a 6-month probation period Our Principles We are a people-first brand experience agency with a set of core principles that guide our every action by measuring: A win for the client Client success is at the forefront of everything we do.
