Synaps is building a new standard for architectural design with AI. Growth is not a layer we add after building the product. It comes from understanding how people discover Synaps, where they find value, where they get stuck, and what makes them come back.
We’re looking for a GTM Engineer who can turn product and customer data into experiments, systems, and product improvements that move those metrics.
What you’ll work on
You’ll own the technical layer behind how we understand and improve growth across the customer journey.
- You will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and Head of Growth to turn product, customer, and marketing data into actionable growth insights.
- Instrument the product so we can reliably measure acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, conversion, and monetization
- Build and maintain funnels, cohorts, segments, dashboards, and growth metrics
- Analyze product behavior to identify drop-offs, friction, and opportunities for growth
- Use session recordings, event data, customer feedback, and quantitative analysis to understand why users behave the way they do
- Turn insights into hypotheses and ship experiments across onboarding, activation, engagement, sharing, retention, and monetization
- Build product experiences and growth loops that help more users reach value faster
- Connect product, marketing, CRM, and customer data into a reliable view of the customer journey
- Build lifecycle automations and systems triggered by real product behavior
- Create internal tools and AI-powered workflows that make growth, sales, and product teams more effective
- Work closely with product, engineering, design, and the founders to decide what we should build next
This is not a dashboard-only role and it is not traditional RevOps. You’ll be expected to find opportunities, build solutions, ship experiments, and measure whether they worked.
Our stack
- PostHog for product analytics, funnels, experiments, and session replay
- SQL and product database analysis
- React and TypeScript for product-facing experiments
- APIs, webhooks, and automation workflows
- CRM, lifecycle, enrichment, and GTM tooling where useful
- AI tools and agents where they create real leverage
The exact tools will evolve. We care more about your ability to build reliable systems, ask the right questions and find reliable answers than loyalty to a specific platform.
What you bring
- Strong technical ability with experience building software, automations, data workflows, or product experiments
- Comfort working with product analytics and large sets of behavioral data
- Strong SQL skills and the ability to answer product questions independently
- Experience with funnels, cohort analysis, segmentation, activation, retention, and conversion
- Ability to move from data to insight, from insight to hypothesis, and from hypothesis to a shipped experiment
- Experience instrumenting analytics and maintaining clean event and metric definitions
- Product intuition and curiosity about why users behave the way they do
- Ability to build quickly across APIs, internal tools, frontend experiences, and automation systems
- Commercial awareness and an understanding that the goal is measurable customer and business growth
- High ownership and comfort operating without a predefined playbook
Nice to have
- Experience in a product-led SaaS company
- Experience with PostHog, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar product analytics tools
- Experience running A/B tests or other controlled experiments
- Experience working on onboarding, activation, retention, referrals, pricing, or monetization
- Experience connecting product data with CRM and marketing systems
- Familiarity with tools such as Clay, n8n, HubSpot, or similar platforms
- Experience building AI-powered workflows or agents
- Experience in creative software, architecture, design tools, or prosumer products
How we work
We’re a startup. You get real ownership, move fast, and work directly on the problems that determine whether Synaps grows. You won’t be handed a list of experiments to implement. We expect you to work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and Head of Growth to use data, talk to users, identify opportunities, and help decide what should happen next.
We’re building a small team of sharp, creative builders who want to be early at a generational company. We care deeply about craft, ship world-class products, and expect a high bar. If that resonates with you, this is the place.
