GTM Intern

Location: Remote (United States) Work Model: Remote Industry: AI recruiting and talent marketplace (B2B SaaS) Compensation: $20–$35 per hour About the Company TalentPluto is a Y Combinator-backed startup building the hiring stack for high-growth companies. We run two connected products: a talent network that places engineering, go-to-market, and operations people into fast-moving startups, and an AI recruiting tool that lets a hiring team run candidate search, tiered enrichment, rubric-based scoring, and outbound campaigns directly from their assistant. We work with dozens of venture-backed startups across AI, developer tools, fintech, and healthcare. The team is small and founder-led, and interns work on live problems rather than practice ones. The Opportunity This is a GTM internship on a two-sided marketplace, which means you will work on both halves of it: the companies deciding where to hire, and the candidates deciding where to go. The work is research-led rather than script-led. You will identify who is worth reaching, understand why the timing is right for them, write the outreach, and then look honestly at what the numbers say about whether it worked. You will work directly with the founders and the operating team, and you will see the full arc from a name on a list to a real conversation. This is a good fit for someone who wants to learn go-to-market at a company where the messaging is still being figured out, and where a better-written email is measurably a better email. Responsibilities Research target companies and candidates, and turn that research into prioritized, specific outreach. Write and send outbound across email and other channels, and iterate on messaging based on what replies. Support both sides of the marketplace: sourcing candidates and supporting companies that are hiring. Track outreach performance, report what is working, and propose the next test. Keep pipeline data and records accurate enough to make decisions from. Requirements Strong written communication skills. Interest in startups, recruiting, sales, marketplaces, or B2B software. Comfort doing research and turning findings into action. Organized and detail-oriented. Able to manage several small projects at once. Analytical mindset with a willingness to test, measure, and iterate. Self-directed and comfortable working in a remote startup environment.
