Position Overview As Head of Department, you will set the strategic direction for Digital Engineering across Ireland - shaping how we deliver BIM, CAD, reality capture, and advanced digital engineering and construction workflows. You’ll champion technical excellence, drive commercial growth, and lead a talented team working on landmark infrastructure and construction projects. What You Will Do Strategic Leadership Define and deliver the Digital Engineering strategy in partnership with senior leadership. Lead innovation in digital workflows, software, and emerging technologies. Own the department's financial performance and contribute to long term business growth. Client & Commercial Growth Build strong relationships with key clients and partners. Identify new opportunities and shape compelling solutions and proposals. Lead tendering, negotiation, and pricing strategies. Team Leadership & Culture Lead, mentor, and grow a high performing technical team. Drive continuous improvement, knowledge sharing , and operational excellence. Support recruitment, development, and talent strategy within the department. Quality, Safety & Delivery Excellence Promote best practice digital workflows across the business. Ensure quality, compliance, and safety standards are met and continuously improved. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery across all projects. What You Will Bring A strong background in BIM, digital delivery, geospatial, civil engineering , or architecture. Deep technical understanding of d igital c onstruction and e ngineering workflows . Experience leading digital or technical teams and influencing multi ‑ disciplinary stakeholders. Proven ability to coordinat e innovation roadmaps , implement digital workflows, and champion best ‑ practice standards.
