We have six developers building the systems our business runs on. We are hiring the person who will lead them.
Reloe is a DTC health and wellness group. Our developers build the internal tools, payment infrastructure and CRM integrations that every part of the business depends on.
Until now each of them has worked closely with individual teams. As we grow we need one person who owns engineering end to end — the team, the standards and what gets built.
WHAT YOU OWN
· The team. Six developers, two in Vilnius and four remote. They report to you. You run one-to-ones, you assess where each person stands, and you help them get better. You decide who we hire and who we do not.
· The work. Marketing, email, business and payments teams all bring their needs to you. You decide what the team builds, who builds it, and when it is done. No one goes around you.
· The code. You stay hands-on, around 40% of your time. You review, you help with the hard problems, and you set the standard for how we build.
· Reliability. Uptime, monitoring, alerting, deployments and security are yours. You decide how we watch our systems and you make sure we know about a problem before anyone else does.
· The call on the team. Do we need more developers, or more output from the ones we have? You will have the data and the mandate to decide.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
· 5+ years building web applications, and experience leading a small team
· Strong with Vue and Nuxt, or able to be strong with them quickly
· You have worked with integrations and payment or billing systems
· You can explain technical things to people who are not technical, without making them feel stupid
· You can look at a developer's work and say clearly where they are strong and where they need to improve
· Fluent English
· You want to build a team, not only ship features
THE DEAL
· €7,000–9,000 gross per month
· Vilnius office, 3 days a week. Plus one month of remote work per year
· Full ownership of the engineering team from day one. All six developers report to you
· You report to our business and operations leads
· Direct access to the founder on anything strategic

· Three conversations. First with our founder.
· Then with our business and operations leads and one of our technical leads.
· Finally a meeting in the office, so we can meet properly. Fast decision, immediate start.
