The Better Way. Every Day. As Head of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, financial planning, and financial management of SWARCO ITS. In this key leadership role, you will ensure the organization's financial stability, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulatory and corporate governance requirements. You will play an active role in shaping the finance organization of the SWARCO ITS Group, leading budgeting, reporting, financial reporting, and risk management while supporting the company's growth and profitability. Lead, develop, and manage the ITS Finance team with full functional and disciplinary responsibility Work closely with the CFO and provide the Executive Board with clear, data-driven financial insights and strategic recommendations Develop and implement the finance strategy in line with the company's overall objectives and growth plans Own the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to enable accurate, data-driven decision-making Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic business planning Drive initiatives to optimize capital allocation, improve cash flow, and increase profitability Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements (IFRS, local GAAP, etc.) Oversee internal controls, corporate governance, and audit readiness Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance Identify and mitigate financial risks while ensuring adherence to financial policies, tax regulations, and industry standards Evaluate investment opportunities, including business cases, capital expenditure (CAPEX), acquisitions, and divestments Support ESG and sustainability reporting initiatives Continuously improve finance processes, data quality, and business intelligence transparency while driving automation and digitalization across the finance function University degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or a comparable qualification Several years of relevant professional experience in an international business environment Proven leadership experience with the ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing finance teams Strong expertise in budgeting, long-term financial planning, investment controlling, group reporting, and taxation Experience in developing and implementing finance strategies aligned with corporate objectives Demonstrated ability to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management and to act as a trusted partner for internal and external stakeholders Excellent written and spoken German and English Strong analytical skills with the ability to think holistically and across functions Entrepreneurial mindset combined with strategic thinking, a high level of accountability, and strong business acumen Proactive, independent, and detail-oriented working style with a hands-on mentality, strong drive for continuous improvement, and the ability to quickly understand complex business environments Attractive salary: depending on experience; development opportunities within the SWARCO Group Work-Life-Balance: flexible working hours, home office and additional vacation days Training and development: comprehensive onboarding program as well as various offers over the SWARCO Academy, individual trainings and job rotation possibility worldwide Mobility: free parking, good accessibility by public transport, electric cars for private use and bike leasing Internationality: collegial and multicultural environment with varied tasks in a successful group with family DNA Health & fitness: on-site massage and sports facilities as well as a well-equipped, ergonomic workplace in a modern office building Social responsibility: we live sustainability, find more information here Food & drink: meal allowance, use of a canteen, fruit, snacks, and various drinks for free Company events: Christmas party, company runs and much more Further benefits: with partner companies and sport events, recommendation program and appreciative gifts on special occasions We offer a very attractive and performance-related salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience.
