This is a hands-on, business-embedded role: beyond core legal leadership, we're looking for someone who brings sharp strategic problem-solving and commercial judgment. This is an interim engagement with close partnership to the CEO and executive team throughout the duration of the consulting agreement with Redox. Redox is an AI-forward company. We expect this role - like every leader on our team - to actively use AI tools (Claude, etc.) to work faster and smarter. Advise on corporate governance practices, legal documentation, and compliance programs such as HITRUST and SOC 2. Required Skills & Experience Head of Legal or comparable senior in-house legal experience. Deep commercial and enterprise contracting experience, including negotiating complex enterprise deals in a highly regulated environment. Hands-on execution orientation - comfortable operating without a large team beneath you. Demonstrated strategic problem-solving in real business situations, not just legal analysis. Business-minded perspective, with the judgment to balance legal risk against commercial goals. Comfort and enthusiasm for using AI tools (e.g., Claude) to accelerate legal and contracting work. JD from an accredited law school; active license to practice law. Preferred Skills & Experience Regulatory and healthcare SaaS experience. Experience identifying business opportunities connected to regulatory change. Venture-backed or private equity-backed company experience. Experience in various healthcare verticals - e.g. provider, payer, and/or life sciences. Specific Software Platform/Tools Required and/or Preferred Required: Contract lifecycle management and e-signature tools (i.e, LinkSquares, Docusign, Salesforce).
