Head of Operations

Role Description The Head of Operations will oversee day-to-day operational planning and execution for Ondavi’s pre-launch and launch activities, ensuring processes and systems are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business goals. This contract, remote role includes developing and refining operational workflows, managing supply chain and vendor relationships, coordinating timelines across product, marketing, and customer experience, and monitoring key performance metrics. The Head of Operations will collaborate closely with founders and cross-functional partners to support product readiness, fulfillment, and customer support processes. The role also includes creating and managing operational documentation, overseeing budgeting related to operations, and identifying risks and opportunities to improve overall performance.

Qualifications

• Strong Operations Management skills, including process design, workflow optimization, and implementation of scalable systems.
• Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, track KPIs, and make evidence-based decisions that improve efficiency and performance.
• Proven Team Management and leadership capabilities, with experience guiding cross-functional teams and fostering accountability.
• Clear and effective Communication skills for collaborating with founders, partners, and vendors and for documenting operational practices.
• Practical Budgeting experience, including managing operational costs, forecasting, and optimizing spend within resource constraints.
• Experience in consumer products, wellness, or supplements operations is beneficial, especially in pre-launch or early-stage environments.
• Ability to thrive in a remote, fast-paced, and ambiguous setting, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Pay Transparency:

• $40-45/hr dependent on experience
