Head of Product (f/m/d)

Verwaltungssprung is a Berlin-based GovTech company developing AI-powered software solutions to simplify and digitize administrative processes. Our platform enables citizens and public institutions to access secure, user-friendly, and fully digital public services. To support the growth of our organization, we are looking for a Head of Product (f/m/d) who combines strategic product leadership with a strong understanding of digital platforms, user needs, and scalable product organizations. In this role, you will define and drive the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our growing GovTech platform. Working closely with Engineering, AI, Design, Governance, and executive leadership, you will lead cross-functional collaboration to deliver impactful, user-centered, and scalable digital public services with real societal impact. Define and drive the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with company goals and market opportunities Lead and mentor the Product organization within a fast-growing GovTech startup environment Collaborate closely with Engineering, AI, Design, Governance, and Operations teams to ensure successful product delivery Translate complex public-sector and user requirements into scalable and impactful product solutions Drive product discovery, prioritization, and decision-making processes based on user insights, market research, and business objectives Establish scalable product management processes, frameworks, and operational standards Align stakeholders across business, technology, and public-sector domains Oversee product lifecycle management from ideation through delivery and continuous optimization Ensure product quality, usability, compliance, and long-term platform scalability Foster a strong product culture focused on ownership, collaboration, innovation, and measurable impact Degree in Business, Product Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field Several years of experience in senior Product leadership roles within SaaS, platform, AI, digital products, or GovTech environments Proven experience defining product strategies and leading cross-functional product organizations Strong understanding of agile product development and modern digital product management practices Ability to balance strategic product thinking with operational execution Experience working closely with Engineering, UX/UI, Data, and business stakeholders Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills Experience in startup or scale-up environments with high ownership and fast decision-making Interest in AI-driven products, digital public services, and large-scale digital transformation Fluent English skills; German is a strong plus Attractive above-average compensation package State-of-the-art IT equipment enabling flexible hybrid working worldwide — from home, our Berlin office, or on-site with partners Centrally located offices with access to the unique ThinkTank Campus in Berlin-Wannsee Comfortable travel policy as well as free snacks and beverages in our offices Flat hierarchies, fast decision-making, and room for your own ideas International team spirit with recognition of both collective and individual successes Early responsibility and strategic influence from day one Structured onboarding with a buddy and experienced mentor Continuous training programs and regular development discussions Join Verwaltungssprung and become part of a mission-driven team building the future of digital public services.
