About The Company The company is building a hybrid on-chain banking platform that combines blockchain infrastructure with traditional financial rails to deliver a unified financial and lifestyle experience. Through a single app, users can hold, transfer, and spend both crypto and fiat globally, while accessing advanced wealth-generation tools and premium lifestyle services. The platform includes on-chain banking accounts enabling seamless global payments and multi-currency operations, Visa-powered cards (digital, plastic, metal), wealth-generation mechanics such as rewards on balances and activity-based earning systems, secure asset custody, and lifestyle and travel services including concierge, airport lounges, insurance, and global connectivity. The product operates across tiered subscriptions scaling from everyday financial access to a full private banking experience for high-net-worth users. About The Role We are looking for a Head of Supply to build and own the supplier network behind our curated group-travel product. In this model, margin is made in contracting - trips are sold at fixed prices on fixed dates, so the quality of the net rates, allotments, and release terms you negotiate is the difference between a product that scales and one that bleeds. Reporting to the Experience Director - Lifestyle & Travel , you will lock the supply for a rolling 6–12-month departure calendar: hotel block buys, charters, event allotments, and a vetted bench of ground partners across our priority destination markets. Key Responsibilities 1. Supplier Strategy & The Five-Layer Bench Build and maintain the full supplier stack: preferred hotel partners (all-inclusive chains and branded 4–5★ properties), a regional DMC bench, experience specialists (track-day operators, event ticket allotments, charter brokers for river ships and villas), event production, and the insurance/assistance layer. Keep two vetted DMCs per priority region, scored quarterly - underperformers rotate out. 2. Commercial Negotiation Negotiate fixed net rates locked at signing, with group allotments in shoulder-season weeks. Structure attrition and release dates that mirror our booking-close timeline - we should never own empty rooms. Secure free name changes close to departure, force-majeure terms as rebooking credit rather than cash exposure, on-property filming rights, and exclusivity windows where the members-only feel matters. Align supplier deposit ladders with member cash-in so prepayments fund supplier payments. 3. The Sourcing Calendar Contract resort block buys and charters 2–4 quarters ahead of the departure calendar. Move on event allotments (motorsport, festivals, fashion weeks) the day dates are announced - this is a fast, reactive buying motion, distinct from the long-lead resort/charter cadence above. Run the monthly pipeline meeting with Curation and Finance - Curation proposes the trip concept, you price and secure the supply, Finance approves the commercial terms. 4. Margin & Risk Own net-rate savings versus market and keep attrition losses at approximately zero. Protect the business from supplier failure: contracted SLAs, named duty contacts, dedicated in-resort representation during trip weeks. 5. Quality Run supplier scorecards fed by post-trip debriefs; renew, renegotiate, or replace on evidence. Onboard new properties and partners to the standard our members expect - premium, reliable, on-brand. Nice To Have Direct relationships with all-inclusive chains (RIU, Barceló, Iberostar-class) or branded city hotel groups. Experience buying event ticket allotments (F1, festivals, fashion weeks) or chartering small ships and villas. Experience procuring group travel insurance and medical-assistance programs. Attrition losses ≈ 0 - release schedules mirror booking-close on every contract. Consistent net-rate savings versus market, visible in per-trip margin. A reliable bench: two scored DMCs per priority region, named duty contacts at every property, zero single-points-of-failure in trip weeks. Office access may be available but is not mandatory. 5+ years in group-travel contracting or procurement - hotel-chain group sales, tour-operator or bedbank purchasing, cruise/charter brokerage, or MICE procurement - with personal ownership of net-rate negotiations (not an assistant/support seat). A documented track record of group allotment deals with attrition and release clauses that protected the buyer - specific named examples, not a generic "negotiated contracts" line. A live, current network across resort chains, hotel groups, and DMCs, with strong preference for candidates active in our priority markets: South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Switzerland, Italy, or Mexico (at least one, ideally two). Commercial fluency - you think in net rates, release dates, and deposit ladders, and can model a trip's margin on one page. Negotiation excellence with the relationship skills to make suppliers want our groups back.
