We are looking for an experienced Treasury front-office professional and team manager to lead Treasury Front Office activities, manage a small team of Treasury Market Dealers and support the execution of Luminor’s bond investment, short-term liquidity and risk management strategy. In daily work, you as Head of Treasury Front Office will lead dealing and investment activities across fixed income, FX, interest rate derivatives, central bank reserves and nostro products. You will be responsible for investment leadership, people management and professional development of Treasury Market Dealers. How You Will Make an Impact: Lead Treasury Front Office activities and manage a team of Treasury Market Dealers, ensuring clear priorities, high-quality execution, effective controls and continuous professional development Manage and oversee bond portfolio management, including investment decisions, portfolio allocation, liquidity considerations, yield and spread monitoring and alignment with internal limits and strategy Understand and monitor bond revaluation, mark-to-market movements, portfolio valuation drivers and the financial impact of fixed income portfolio on management decisions Execute and oversee Treasury market transactions, including FX, money market instruments, interest rate swaps and other relevant financial instruments used for liquidity, funding and risk management purposes Manage Luminor’s participation in central bank market operations, including operational readiness, collateral optimization and internal coordination Support hedge accounting processes by understanding associated valuation, documentation, effectiveness and accounting impacts, including cross-departmental P&L impacts and reconciliations with Finance, Accounting and Risk teams Act as Product Owner for Treasury Front Office products, including bond investments, interest rate swaps, FX and repo products, and drive necessary business, process, system and control developments in cooperation with relevant stakeholders Lead or contribute to Treasury projects and cross-departmental initiatives, ensuring strong liaison with Risk, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Legal, Compliance, IT and other stakeholders Ensure that front-office activities are performed in accordance with approved mandates, internal limits, policies, procedures, regulatory expectations and sound market practice Use Bloomberg and other relevant trading and auction systems, settlement and market information platforms to support sound execution, valuation, analysis and decision-making What Makes You a Great Fit: Relevant Treasury Front Office, markets, asset-liability management, fixed income, liquidity or investment management experience within a bank or financial institution Bond investing experience or strong understanding of bond portfolio management principles, including yield, spread, duration, liquidity, credit quality, allocation and limit considerations Understanding of bond revaluation, mark-to-market movements and the drivers of portfolio performance and accounting impacts Experience with or strong understanding of FX dealing, money market activity, interest rate swaps and valuation of Treasury market positions Knowledge of ECB open market operations, central bank facilities, collateral management considerations and related operational processes would be preferred Understanding of hedge accounting principles and associated impacts on cross-departmental P&L, valuation, accounting and reconciliation processes Strong leadership, people management and coaching skills Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills High attention to detail, strong analytical mindset and ability to identify, escalate and resolve issues Proven project management capability and experience in cross-departmental liaison with Risk, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Legal, Compliance and IT, would be an advantage but is not required Exposure to specialist Treasury projects, including funding, liquidity, capital markets, collateral, covered bond or securitization-related initiatives, would be an advantage but is not required Educational background in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Banking, Financial Markets or related field; Professional qualifications in investment, finance or risk management would be considered a strong advantage Knowledge of Bloomberg and experience with trading, auction or market execution platforms would be considered a strong advantage Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on Pan-Baltic level Why You Will Love Working Here: Flexibility.
